I don't know about other homeschooling mom's of more then one child, but boy is it tough to try to teach multiple children at once. My biggest challenge in the past 2 years has been teaching one while finding the other something to do! My hat goes off to you mom's who are homeschooling multiple children!
I knew in starting this school year that I had to find a way to entertain Boo while I was doing school with Honey, but Boo is old enough to want to do "school." I had to find a way to allow her to do educational things, that made her feel like she was doing it with purpose, so she would feel accomplished each day too.
After spending [more] hours [then I care to admit] browsing pinterest and blogs, I have come up with a sufficient list to get us through the year. Check our "Tot School" page in the curriculum tab to find our list of resources.
Here is what our tot school set-up looks like.

Each basket has 1 of each:Sensory play (Play-doh, water table toys, sand toys)
Fine motor skills activity (colour sorting pom-poms, tweezers, lacing beads)
puzzle
Book - various board books which will be alternated
colouring book/sticker book - which she is encouraged to finish one page before moving onto the next.
role play - (cars, animals, paper dolls)
Boo also has full access to the other toys in the play area, including her gross motor activities (bouncy ball, balance beam, balls, hula hoops), dolls and clothes, magnet board, dress up clothes, blocks, stuffed animals, and so on [and so on].
My goal in providing her with "school" activities is to keep her engaged, while also encouraging independent work.
Let me know what works for you and your tots! I hope this information helps!
